Overview

AI Fashion Law (https://www.aifashionlaw.com) is a personal editorial publication covering AI law, design, and technology for independent fashion designers. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable law including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

We do not sell your personal data. We do not run advertising. We collect only what we need to operate the site.

Data we collect

Data you provide

If you contact us via email or a contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message. We use this solely to respond to your inquiry.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address (through our third-party newsletter provider) and use it solely to send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Data collected automatically

When you visit the site, our hosting provider (Vercel) and analytics tools may collect:

• IP address (anonymised)
• Browser type and version
• Pages visited and time spent
• Referring URL
• Device type

This data is used in aggregate to understand how the site is used and to improve it. It is not linked to any individual identity.

Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, we process your data under the following legal bases:

• Consent: for analytics and for newsletter communications.
• Legitimate interests: for necessary site operation, security, and fraud prevention.

This site is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

International transfers

Our hosting infrastructure is located in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure such transfers comply with applicable law, including GDPR Chapter V requirements.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
